Just bought a set of SRAM Red C2 shifters and here are some more weights with Gore cables:



The cables didn't reach the table and this spare set should be a bit less than 30g (without the plastic keeping it together), so these levers are also 28x grams.



You just got a heavy set, it seems.

mine weigh 308.6 grams... i, too, was disappointed. seems pretty common, though, for them to be overweight.

What is the production date of yours? I got two seperate ones, so WK42 2018 and WK12 2019...

I'm pretty sure my force clamps are a piece of metal that's been bent into shape. The red clamp is a cut from a drop shaped tube of some sort. It's one solid piece.

I could be mistaken..
