I've seen that too on other posts, the weird thing is the Rival shifter tend to go lighter, 325g on this post: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=154636

I feel cheated with my red shifter, its almost same as force shifter at half price

AFAIK the bodies are the same across all shifters?

The body seem identical, only difference is alloy speed lever on Force and some ti screw on Red. As the last poste said (thread above), maybe the brake lever on Force is composit and carbon on Red. We look at less than 10g difference, so it can't have big difference.

Clamps are the same between both, only the shift lever and body are different.
