New to this so just giving it a go.
Just finished my Cannondale Black Inc CAAD12 build.
Did not start the build with weight in mind but as ever, weight takes over.

Looks nice, and light enough without breaking the bank. I'd get some different cages to get it under 7 :) Old style Tune are on sale now, I find them reliable and very good looking.

Thanks for the thumbs up and advice, planning on changing the rear cassette for a Dura Ace one which should shave off 80g and get the bike under 7kg.
Dura Ace derailleur probably next on my list.

Lovely bike, I had the joy of renting a CAAD12 for a week, was amazed that a aluminium bike could be so nice. You even got the brakes the right way round. :-)

Cheers Lewn777 they are great bikes had loads of carbon bikes and trust me Aluminium is better. CAAD12 and Specialized Allez Sprint are both amazing.

can i ask which cane creek headset you used. I cant remember if it uses 36x45 or 45x45 top bearings. dont wan't to order 2 aer bearings
amazing blaxck inc btw. incredible mixture of value and weenie-ness
