You have 3000 dollars.

Aim: Build a full bike, as light as possible.

Conditions: All components should be NEW, or discounted. No Used components/frames.

You can recommend a $3000 complete stock bike, or get a $X bike and upgrade upto 3k, or you can do whatever you fancy.

Budget is 3000. GO!!

Lots of Izalco MAX builds lately - that seems like a great starting point. Check eBay for these frames (new).

I'm too lazy to answer in full spec with weight.

At that price, frameset shouldn't cost more than 1k
wheels another 1k
then misc for the rest.

Frameset should be open mold from reputable companies like Workswell, Dengfu, Hongfu. Matt coating with no color painted. Gloss is heavier. Look for fm-066 or something similar. PF30 weight least, then bb30 then others.
Wheelset, Light-bicycle or Farsport with Novatech/Bitex hub are hard to beat for price/weight while still is trustable (not random ebay wheels). Tubular weight less than clincher.
Components: Sram Force on everything, except crankset and cassette.
Crankset: Sram Red bb30.
Cassette: Bdop cassette.
BB: normal Sram BB
Handlebar: Hylix Ergonova
Stem: Kalloy Uno stem
bar tape: none or electrical tape :P
skewers: AxLightness
Fork expander: Extralite Ultrastar 3
Plastic/Nylon/Aluminum bolts on bottle cage and derailleur limit screw (cost less than titanium but still strong enough for the task)
Pedals: Speedplay Chromoly+ aftermarket Titanium spindle from viewtopic.php?f=3&t=74665
Shoes: Lintamann Minimal 2.1 (not included in bike weight, but in overall weight)

If no climbing involved, remove FD and small chainrings, keep small 11-25 or 11-28 cassette and normal derailleur.

cannondale caad12 frameset £600 (sale Drakes cycles) ~1500g
mechanical sram red groupset £1350 1900g
chinese carbon seapost ~£30 170g
chinese carbon saddle ~£20 120g
kalloy uno stem £20 110g
lightweight aluminium bars eg. ritchey ~£50 260g
build your own lightweight alloy wheels ~£300 1400g
tesa bar tape (£2.50!) 15g
veloflex master clincher tyres, £25 each, 400g (pair)
vittoria latex tubes £15 140g (pair)
look keo blade pedals £80 240g
fabric cageless 'bottle cages' £12 110g

Might have forgotten something, but that gets me to £2529.50 or $3368.17, a bit over budget but a good build I think.

Weight: 6365g, sounds too low to me given the parts but there it is.

Would it be wise to go for a more expensive frame, say a CAAD12 vs Supersix Evo, just because if anytime in the future I want to spend more, and go even lighter, then the frame might be like an anchor?

Compare 2-3 interesting options for every part of the bike and make a list. Assign a $/gr value to each part.

Choose whatever combination of lowest $/gr parts that amounts to 3000$.

If you mix objectives like "pick more expensive x because it's hard to swap later" you will do so at the expense of other parts being heavier to fit the budget.

Set your goal straight. Start working on the numbers.

Frame weights are sometimes very optimistic. It'd be crazy to try and split hairs beteeen +/- 10gr and then receive one that's 200gr overweight. And no you can't do much about it. Buying 2nd hand helps by letting the seller weigh the actual item before purchasing. A luxury shops can't really provide.

Also if you don't build the bike yourself and weigh the parts individually you won't know what you are getting. No LBS is going to do this for you and for sure some stuff will be overweight and screw with your projections unless you're involved a lot.

If I would have that kind of budget and want really light bike I would just get almost new second hand frameset. <1100g framset ex. Izalco max would be good start and you could maybe get new Red22 groupset. I would choose decent alu wheelset for start and update later on carbon wheels.

If you want get everything new you need choose do you want light frameset, groupset or wheelset. I would not choose that Hylix stuff so need some budget for seatpost, handlebar and saddle. Maybe some chinese rims build with decent hubs.

Are Novatec Jetflys good? For around $400 they come in at 1455 grams(real weight, not manufacturer). Is that a good wheelset?

I've had no issues with mine, love 'em. They roll smooth and the freehub is quiet, which I like. Even nailed a pothole at 30+mph and they stayed true. Mine were 1465g out of the box with rim tape and valves installed. Best price I found was at Probikekit, they list for $379, join their mailing list and you'll get a 10% off code.

And how is the Canyon Ultimate CF 8.0?

Comes in at 7kg, and has potential for loosing weight. Price is $2100 (I think).

Is Canyon a good choice? Or should I stick with a Cannondale Supersix Evo/Bh Ultralight/Dengfu?

I would look at Canyon Ultimate or Giant TCR. Out here in So Cal I can get any Giant for 15% off with no tax at my dealer.

I think those wheels are probably very good, but you have to think about tubular, I'm not sure they suit every kind of rider (same thing goes for tubeless).
