I really hope so!
Building up my new S-Works SL6 Tarmac now and altough I was tempeted by the S-Works Turbo Cotton tyres, the durability had me concerned.
A GP5000 tyre with a tanwall would be the best balance of speed, durability and looks for me.
If anyone gets any more information please keep us posted!!

Warren Barguil has also been spotted riding a tan one in an Instagram post. Was mentioned with pics in the GP5000 TL thread!
Looking good I'd say!

I’m fitting some 5000 to my 25mm wide fulcrum (external) and they come up tiny compared to the 4000 I’m replacing.
4000 measure 26mm wide and 26mm high
5000 measure 24mm wide and 22.5mm high!
I’m so annoyed I don’t know whether to return them!
Not so good for you, but good to hear they finally reduced the size on the tyres back to normal. It will probably expand 1mm in a couple of rides to it's true size, but I was always annoyed that Conti's came up so big. A 25mm on 21mm rims would easily blow up to 28.5mm. That of course is a really wide rim, but a true to size would probably only go to 26.5mm on that same rim, making it a whole 2mm less. On 17c it should be spot on the way it is supposed to.

Yes. the newer ones come with alloy stems too.
Thanks. Is 51mm standard or there is a longer option? Getting these for my Giant SLR1 stock wheels that came with my TCR.

None of my GP4000sII measure taller than 25mm, even on 21mm and 23mm internal width (where the tire measure about 28.5mm wide). I really doubt GP4000sII on Fulcrum (I assume 17mm internal width?) would measure that tall.

I dont get the tanwall love. BITD my bmx tires were tanwalls and theyd fall apart. Threads hanging off everywhere. When GT came out with black vulcanized tires in like 94 it was soo sick. Chrome on all black wheels ftw.

Good. 1 week to wait.
Where do you see this information ?
It was on the instagram feed above.
Yes!
BMX tires have a much tougher life than road tires... and back then, the tan was probably the bare casing material. Now, even with cotton casings like Corsas, there is a protective layer over the tan.
