Hi all, just want to tap the wisdom for my latest project - an SWorks Tarmac SL6. I've been researching the solution to that dreaded creaking on the BB/crank interface - before I purchase the parts. Can you please help me to choose which solution will be creak-free perpetually:
1. Original Spez BB + 30mm spindle crank
2. Original Spez BB + adapter + Ultegra crank
3. CeramicSpeed/Praxis/Kogel/C-bear conversion BB + Ultegra crank
Thanks in advance!

I've got option 1 on my sl6.
I was creak free until yesterday, my bearings are wasted after 8000km.

Awesome and definitely won’t creak. I’ve got them installed on all my bikes now.

Thread-together BBs in a press fit frame are usually quite good. I have a Praxis BB30/GXP thread-together in my SL6. It’s definetly not the lightest solution, but seems very well made. Over 90 h ridden so far and can’t complain (yet).

The pf30 bb's Ive had:
praxis in carbon mtb frame creaked on every pedal stroke until I removed it and put ti anti seize on, then all silent
chris king in carbon road frame with ti anti seize from the start, silent
rotor in carbon mtb frame anti seize didnt help had to use loctite primer and 609 to stop creaking
kogel in a couple bikes, same as rotor loctite was the only way to stop creaking

I have not had creaking with Praxis and then cbear (I switched), but to be fair the sample size is small so far ( under 1000 miles ). Good luck, you’ll love the SL6.
