TT cables for campagnolo

Hi Weenies,

I am rebuilding my TT frame from Shimano to Campagnolo, both mechanical. I can see that campgnolo has a special set of cables for TT shift and brake levers (CG-SL500 & CG-BL500), but can anybody tell me the difference between these and the standard CG-ER600 - and are they necessary. They are quite hard to come by.

Thanks

Christian

Always just used the standard Campy shifter/brake cables....

If I recall I think the TT specific ones were just longer to accomodate for the extra length of the shifter mounted on the aerobar...

Thanks,

Thats what I thought as well. I guess I will just measure the length and see if it is ok.

Cheers

Brake cable housing is thinner to accomodate bars with internal routing. I didn't check to see if the length was different.
