Hello,

I use Ritchey Pro Micro SPD pedals, but want new shoes that aren't 2 bolt compatible, so I'm on the market for some light, affordable and reliable road pedals.
Just found these Xpedo Thrust 7 (XRF07MC) on Aliexpress for 36€,weighting 236gr for the pair, 3 bearing per side (no bushings).
Almost seems to good to be true.

Does anyone here use them?Image

I've used them. They work great. They have a very solid clip in feel. The bearings can be serviced.

I'm now on 163gr chinese time pedals, not as great but lighter.

The xpedo7s can be had for 10usd 2nd hand here in China. It's a good place to start.

Like anything chinese it's tested for common chinese rider weights which is 80-50kg. For very powerful or heavy riders these pedals might not hold up as well.

Thanks @alcatraz!

I use the M Force8 (XMF08TT) on one of my mountain bikes, and they're great so far.

In fact I was wondering if I can get titanium axles for the Thrust 7,as I'm comfortably within the weight limits (68kg,and more spinner than masher).

For such a cheap pedal it looks better than most.

Sorry, there are no titanium axles for these pedals. I've looked for them.

If you want a superlight pedal system check out the chinese made titanium speedplay. They are 138gr for a pair and come with titanium cleats. In China they cost around 70usd but on alixpress maybe 100?

They are called gs69 for their weight.

Or, go for the Thrust 8 pedals. With Ti axle they are 170g, very reliable. I've used them for years and they work well.
