I've been looking at the Aerofly ii from specialized but am left wondering if there is a lighter option out there that is just as aero?

Thanks!

The 3t aeronova ltd bars are about 5g lighter than the pros as per manufacturers claimed weights.

Also remember that airfoils are not very vertically stiff. As a result, aero bars have a reputation for flex, moreso for the lighter options. So although they are inherantly comfortable, they become poor for sprinting.

I'd say it's between the Pro bars already mentioned and the Ritchey Streem II

That must be the reason why most pro sprinters use them.

The flex issue is a 3t aeronova thing, not an aerobar thing.

my 42mm Aeronova team weighs in at 208g, so if the LTD is even lighter it's gonna be seriously light!

i must say though, that even if it's a bit flexy, the shape is seriously comfortable - putting your hands on the humps at he back of the ramps feels like sitting down in a comfy chair after a long day at work ;)

I somehow found one in America after a ton of searching, and ordered it.

Hopefully be here next week.

Thanks!
