I was wondering if there is anyone in the know who can shed some light as the whether DT-Swiss will be offering the XD Driver cassette bodies for road?
I making the assumption this is what will be needed for the Etap 12 speed. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of LW's and will mover to Etap 12 as soon as i can lay my hands on it but don't want to get snookered with a very expensive set of wheels.

I've had zero experience with Sram so i'm in uncharted water's right now

Cheers!

Of course they will. Some XD drivers available now are already XDR drivers just with a 1.85mm spacer included. Even if this isn’t the case with DT Swiss, you can bet an XDR driver will be available any second now.
