I cant decide if I want my next bike to have a fully integrated cable system through the handlebar or not.

Are there any cons? like e.g. that the front wheel has more maneuvering resistence because of the bending pressure of the cable mantle?

The biggest con is that getting the cables through cleanly can be a real pain. If you dont do your own maintenance this isn't a big deal but if you're a diy'er, it can suck.
