The "older model" (just a different color scheme) is on sale for $300 (down from $600) on Trek's website, though only in 42cm and a few stem length options. You can probably also find it for the same price but without tax elsewhere online.

Question: building up an SL6 (S-Works or Pro) frame, what bottom bracket do you use? I am thinking of getting a frame to build with SRAM Red and a Red Quarq power meter, but not sure I'm reading the Specialized specs right for the bottom bracket.
Comes with bb30 bearings that press directly into the frame. Get an sram red or quarq for bb30 and it’ll be a good matchtwoangstroms wrote:Question: building up an SL6 (S-Works or Pro) frame, what bottom bracket do you use? Thanks, that's good to know (already have that on my current race bike, so that'd save me $ if I just switch it over)!eric01 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 24, 2019 12:43 amComes with bb30 bearings that press directly into the frame. Any crank made for BB30 will fit directly with no spacer required. Sram GXP, any 24mm axle cranks and BB386 cranks will require adapters or spacers.twoangstroms wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 11:58 pmQuestion: building up an SL6 (S-Works or Pro) frame, what bottom bracket do you use?
