Hey All,
My fender mount has pulled out of my carbon frame. Can I epoxy it back in place safely?
Is Epoxy Carbon Safe?

Hey. Attached are two photos. One is the mount pushed all the way in/normal the other photo is the mount pulled out as far as it will slip. Basically I can still use the fender it is just wobbly.
By the looks of that, I'd just run a bead of epoxy round the gap, and push the boss back into place. Leave to cure. Might need to strip stuff down a bit so you can get proper access. And hold it in place with some tape while it cures.
I was expecting some sort of great big ragged hole with torn CF everywhere!

This. I had a rivnut go on my Cervelo BB external cable guide. Bought a Rivnut tool and some Rivnuts for about £35 and it was pretty straight forward. I practiced on a bit of scrap metal first. Dont frig about with a home made rivnut tool made from a bolt as seen on You Tube though.
