What are the advantages/disadvantages of c3 type bearings. These are recommended for my miche primato hubs.

c3 is a clearance beaeing. You have to use them in the Primato hub to avoid premature wear. It's an internal clearance and so any small variations in bearing seat tollerances and bearing variance can be accommodated and the preload adjustment can take up the remaining play. Without that the Primato hub would be far more expensive to achieve the tollerances required to have reliable bearings. Even then it hard to get a hub to have longer bearing life than the miche hubs.
