Dura-Ace Shifter Sunweb 2019 bike

I was just looking through the Cyclingnews gallery of Tom D's R5 and there is a shot of the team bikes lines up in a row. The front one had a Dura-Ace Di2 shifter that has a shape that I've not seen before, rim braked Di2 but the hood is taller and squarer than the 9150 shifter that is already know, also the shift button is visibly much larger than on the 9150 shifter. I'm not suggesting it's anything radical, I've just not seen it before.

The low res images don’t help, but I think you’re right, they do appear different.

Looks like Shimano ST-7970 (electronic STI first generation, not e-tube)
They was taller, b/c longer arm was needed to pull 10s era road brake cable



it is possible to replace first gen. internals to e-tube internals to make them compatible with new di2
but they also need old shimano brake calipers (or modern non shimano brake calipers)

we already saw 7970 era barend non-etube electornic shifter SW-7971 on Dumoulon february 2018 bike:

It's clearly not going to be a 10 speed Di2 shifter that's been guttted so they can run 11 speed internals in 2019 though is it? A better guess would be ST-9070 as it's 11 speed already and the same shape as a 7970. But the shifter in the photo isn't anywhere near the shape of either of the old Di2 shifters.
