Hi all, long time lurker but don’t post much and I am
Hoping some of the very knowledgeable members on here can help me with a Di2 issue?

I have 6870 Di2 on my bike which till now has worked brilliantly (apart from a battery dying which was replaced under warranty).

The bike has been on my turbo for the past 2 months and it’s worked fine although I haven’t ridden it for 2 weeks as I have been riding my winter bike.

I threw some wheels on it for a quick ride today and instantly there was an issue, to shift the rear mech I have to click either of the shift tabs on the right shifter twice to shift up on down? It’s almost like the first click wakes the system up and the second actually shifts the mech.

I have checked the cables are connected properly and the battery is charged which are all fine, so I am stumped.

I have searched online but all I can find is about synchro shift or micro adjust??

Help!

I had same issue. The shifting was slow in response. It was completely dead when the bikes was parked. Needed to dead-shift several times before it shifted.
And when it did, it was completely off. I ran a PCE-1 test and the battery was faulty. I think i'm on my 5 shimano battery now.

Thanks for your response, was your issue with both shifters or just the one?

The front shifter for mine is ok, the rear is the one with the issue?

I had the same issue (had to shift a few times to wake up system) and it was a faulty battery.
