Anyone got the new Factor Vista? How is it off/on road? There doesn't seem to be many reviews online about the Vista

...if you need more than 35mm, perhaps - but I’m from an ilk where my ‘gravel bike’ was my road bike, and ran 25c tyres which used to be considered ‘wide’. In fact I still tend to use a road bike for gravel because it’s much nicer for the tarmac sections.

I digress...

I have a Vista on review at the moment - nothing to report so far as I had issues getting the disc brakes sorted and then went on holiday, but I hope to sort it ready to ride as soon as I get back next week.

I’ll update you when I’ve got some miles on it. For now, here’s a pic: https://www.instagram.com/p/BrZUMF3lx49/

I’m very interested to know how it rides compared to an aggressive road bike like the factor o2 or one. I’ve always wanted something with big tire clearance but doesn’t give up too much in terms of stiffness.

What issues did you have with the disc brakes?

Nothing related to the frameset.

Would you happen to know how much the full bike weighs currently?

According to a video on GCN, size 56 comes in at just over 8KG.

I know that 37c tires have been put on a vista with good clearance. It’s not in the ballpark of an OPEN obviously but you can put something wider in there
Just ride ..
