Congrats! Did you post in "Introduce Youself?"OUGrad05 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 3:39 amLocal shop had a 2022 RC20 in my size (61) which is super hard to find. I rode it, liked it...a lot. So I bought it. Beware though that any stem/bar changes are NOT included on these aero bikes it's a pay for change and most of them are backordered right now. Not the end of the world but definitely in the "annoying" bucket TBH.
The pro's though? I'm coming from a 2017 Specialized Roubaix and no joke the Foil rides better. It's both more sporty, it handles better, or at least feels like it does, it's more responsive and it's quite a bit MORE comfortable. I took it on its first real ride today in the cold/rain. It's quieter, absorbs small and midsize bumps better (I didn't hit any big bumps today). It absorbs road chatter/buzz MUCH better. This, to me was stunning. I fully expect the roubaix to be more comfortable and expected a "break in" period of getting used to a rougher ride. That's simply not going to be the case, this is a better bike I think???
Also my first experience with electronic shifting, it's amazing.

I would love to see how these number compare with a true Tri-bike, which are not limited by the UCI silliness.

Can someone tell me if the new canyon aeroad tests faster than the 2018 rim brake model?

207W! Lots of aero for the money but I think you need to add €1000. Price has gone up after the review.

Cube knows a thing or two about aero (the C68 SLT was my favorite rim TT/Triathlon bike, super fast, too bad it wasn't UCI legal ), however, I still find this result a bit too surprisingly good.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike
I don't find it surprising at all, German wind tunnels always seem to give a few fewer watts to Canyon, Cube and the likes.

Looks like the the Cube would have tested a watt or two faster if its bars weren’t taped to within 3.5cm of the stem…

Solid result and not really surprising given the shapes are pretty similar to other bikes of this type.
I have been trying to find the Canyon Aeroad result - but cannot. Is anyone able to dig it out?

New Cervelo S5
New Trek Madone

2018 BMC TImeMachine Road
2002 Moots Compact-SL

What's new on the new S5? Slightly more aero fork?
S5 was tested in august 2020 at 205W with Enve SES 5.6.
It's probably a few watts faster now which should at least tie it with the Aeroad, Aerfast and Systemsix

Has Tour done a test of the Felt AR Disk? The rim brake AR if I remember correct was one of the best tested bikes at the time.

Yes, although maybe not for the very latest disc model. The results are in this thread, you just have to dig for it. Last I saw, it was slower than the rim by a few WattsAlastair2308 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 13, 2023 6:52 pmHas Tour done a test of the Felt AR Disk?
