Cervelo Bike Porn.

The brand doesn't seem to get a lot of love here, but this is very nice.

The stack of spacers and shitty photograph too. Not bikeporn.

Tough crowd...
But I tend to agree. Bike porn should be like regular porn, impossibly unattainable for the regular person.

That stack is a bit silly. Buy a bike that fits, not the other way around.

It is. With bikes going for $10k, Joe/Jane Q. Public think we're crazy.

It’s still very meh with the standard stem, I’m looking forward to seeing some team bikes though and hoping we see a -17 equivalent cockpit. I think some of the problem is the lack of a brake in the usual place making the gap between drops and wheel look even larger.
Still though, that ain’t bike porn. No soul, it’s just expensive bits bolted on, I wouldn’t have thought those Zipps could could look much worse but they manage it in disc version. The bike above looks much better.

There seems to be this train of thought that if you bolt on enough name brand and expensive parts you will have a nice looking bke. I've seen more nice budget builds that flow well than this example.
I think you’ll find that the bars are in the exact same position as they would be if there was a normal stem mounted on top of the head tube. Looks deceiving but having seen the bike in the flesh it is very nice.VTR1000SP2 wrote:That stack is a bit silly. Buy a bike that fits, not the other way around.

I think the second bike looks great. I just don’t care for the paint scheme.
The new style stem is cool in design, but looks terrible imho. Call me superficial. With bikes, cars, and women... the inside counts, but so does the outside. But for a bike that needs a high stack, but wants aero... i guess it is a good solution... if you can stomach fit being thrown out the window.

I know that the rise of the stem itself is +6 but the spacing below the stem is too much. The owner of this bike should have opted for something less racy.cunn1n9 wrote:I think you’ll find that the bars are in the exact same position as they would be if there was a normal stem mounted on top of the head tube.
