I've been riding a Diverge for awhile and just added a new Venge to the arsenal - so most of my miles are now on disc. I've been using what seem to be the default pads - the L02A that Shimano ships with both the 805 and 9170 calipers.

I'm wondering if folks have experience with other pads?

I'm sure terrain matters - I ride in San Francisco. So lots of hills. And this season, also lots of wet.

Do people use different pads when it's wet vs dry season?

Thanks!
Seth

For the Bay Area, I would use SwissStop "E" pads all year round.
