I need some help please! Today the bike was leaned on a poll, strong wind gust put it down, fell on one side. The lever on that side was nicked inwards, pushed is back but I immediately noticed the lever is totally jammed, pulling it doesn’t move at all, is like something is blocking it’s movement. I thought maybe a bleeding and opening of the system will help ease any pressure built but at no prevail, is still locked.

Any suggestions what shall I be trying? I looked online but I find no manuals for levers, to see if a piston would be jammed or anything guiding me.

Many thanks for any helping tips!

Best,
Dorin

So I decided to remove the shifter to take it to LBS (they have an usually 2 weeks waiting till they can serve you, hoping only with the shifter I may pursue the mechanic to have a look) when just by flipping it around the lever is no longer jammed, hurray!

Now, does anyone have an idea what torque must I use to tighten the screws of the bleed reservoir?

Cheers,
Dorin
