What psi do you guys recommend for 32mm Conti 5000 TL? I have a gravel bike with two sets of wheels and plan on using the 32mm Conti's for occasional road rides. BTW I'm 150-lbs.

~55psi with 21mm rims, maybe a few psi higher with 19mm.

Mine ran true for the life of the tyre.

10 psi should be enough to keep the bead hooked. You should bot be able to push the bead from the rim with air in it. If you can it should be very difficult.

Robeambro you have a dead tyre. Bin it. Sidewall damage if repaired is temporary at best. The tyre will likely bulge when inflated to a reasonable pressure.
I don't mean to question your knowledge, but I've experienced no bulging upon inflating at 75psi and for now it seems to hold, I've done a 100km ride and it worked fine. Even if it were to blew up again, living in the Netherlands makes it likely that I won't be going down any Alpine-like descents while it happens, so I guess I'm open to trying my luck.

Didn't find anything in a search, but has anyone had trouble with these tires seeming like they aren't fully mounted?

The tread seems to wobble like the bead isn't seated and this is my 3rd tire that seems to do it.

Many tires will wobble. Some get worse with time. I will say that my sole remaining mounted GP5K has a wobble to it too.

No wobble here... I always inflat to max psi when first mounting in the hope it will seat perfectly, then reduce PSI to suit.

They wear quite fast, I'm coming up to 1,800km now and rear is looking a little out of shape. My Corsa TLR's shall be going back on when the day comes.

Normally, yes. These are a little more severe than what I would expect to be within tolerance. With all three tires it seems to be just around the "Continental" logo. It's enough that I can see it on the move.

In case anyone wonders about combos and tightness.

I mounted one on a Boyd Altamont Lite without bigger issues, DT oxic dicut 1400 took more persuasion, but also doable - both have 2 layers of the Stans white tape.

Mavic Pro Carbon SL UST took me 15 minutes to put the first side on, was getting late for work, so the other half still awaits.

similar rims, gave up to avoid rim damages (and first side get in 1 minute....the second side was the problem) and now very very happy with Hutchinson Performance TLR 28mm 2019 model (no hassle, tyre with best peformance ever tried, also lighter with 266 grams and real 30mm width)

Just fitted (by hand) some 28c variants of these to some Roval CLX 50s.

Came out at 30.54mm once inflated to 90PSI.

28's on Rovals at 90 psi?! are you 130kg? I run mine at 65 psi at 90kg here.

Having spent another unsuccessful half hour, I am starting to think the shape of the center channel is the culprit. It’s rather narrow on the Mavics and the bead of the side that is in takes all the space in the channel, while pushing the other bead off and creating the tightness.

Mounted a set of 25mm tires on my Industry Nine i45 wheelset the other day. Went on by hand except for the last bit with a tire lever and they seated pretty much immediately with my floor pump. Running 75-80psi and weigh 77kg

Is anyone using the 5000TL on recent vintage Farsports rims? I have their 25mm wide (18mm internal) tubeless (no spoke holes) rims. I'm thinking of trying tubeless.

Using the 5000TL 28mm on the Farsports FSC50-CM-25 tubeless ready wheels (no spoke holes)

Pretty easy to mount the tires but used one plastic tire tool. Inflated without issue using a Bontrager flash charger pump.

Satisfied so far.

I'm about to switch to the 5000 TL on my Madone SLR and TCR SL. Considering 25 or 28mm. The Madone SLR has the XXX 6 wheels with 21mm internal width while the TCR rides on Mavic Cosmic SL UST with 19mm internal width. What psi do you recommend for the two sizes? I'm 67-68 KG's.
