Some stores in N.A. have them in stock now. But at $80 a tire I don't think they are flying off the shelf at the moment. The TL version is $95.

At that price, Turbo Cottons over any Conti anyday.
I really hope prices will drop soon enough (read: until March in time for next season :D )

They're already reasonably priced in some German shops.

Actual widths measured, a true 25mm on a 19mm internal rim, so basically the same size as the only 23mm. The 23mm non tubeless should make a good all round front TT tire based on the aero data then.

Thats the clincher tyre.

Winter tyres cost me more than $80 or its equivelent in GBP. I think the last tyres for my car set me back £140 each. conti's too,

I have a theory that Conti just keep artificially inflating the RRPs on their tyres to keep pace with online retailing. A like for like tyre supposedly costs £60 now but you can still buy them for nearly the same price you could 8 years ago when the RRP was more like £40. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if Conti was still selling them to the first receiver for the same amount as always :P

They tested well at Aerocoach: https://www.aero-coach.co.uk/gp-5000-data
Betting the tubeless version slots in right behind the Fusion 5 Galactik as the third fastest tubeless tire on BRR.

https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.co ... -5000-2018

If we assume the TL version is 5% faster as Conti claims, then it'll be comfortably faster than the older, tubeless version of the Fusion 5 Galactik and second on BRR's list to the Corsa Speed.

I'd definitely like to see a H2H between the 11Storm TLR Galactiks and the GP5000 TL.

I have few 25mm tubeless tyres in. Prices however are already starting to come down so I have cancelled my back order for 28mm and 32mm tyres as by the time I get them there will be no profit in selling them. That's the sad truth about continental, they make good tyres but no one but conti makes anything on selling them.
