Excellent, same as what I'll be using. I need 32s and don't want to wait for April, plus I can do without the extra weightSchallUndRauch wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 11:27 pm
Orange Seal Endurance, and yes, on a LightBicycle (Chinese) carbon rim.

After quite a lot of positive experiences with non-tubeless road tires run tubeless, I am swinging round to your view. Running non-tubeless tubeless IS possible, but after yesterday's experience, my confidence is not what it used to be: While descending at high speed through a turn, the bike sudeenly started feeling wobbly. I carefully decelerated to find that the lateral forces during the turn had pushed the front tire from the rim sufficiently for the tire to loose air. There was a ring of fresh sealant all around the rim, and pressure was way down. That of course could have gone really wrong. I gave it a full CO2 and rode home slowly. It's tubes for me now, until I can get the proper TL Contis.bm0p700f wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 5:16 pmNo one should be advocating running a road tyre that's not tubeless, tubeless and saying after a week it fine. The bead on the non tubeless tyre is not the same and that's were the issue can be. If your going to run tubeless great tlget a tubeless tyre. If your not great then use frickin inner tubes in the non tubeless tyre.
Now before going "told you so, stupid" - appreciate my honesty
Just installed them on my new build. I was able to install them on DT Swiss ARC carbon wheelset without a lever, but it was definitely a struggle. Once they went on, they inflated with a floor pump and no sealant and have kept their pressure for several days so far.

Tubeless tyres should be tight. If you used soapy water instalation would be easier.
On a dt rim the fit has to be tight. With sealant the tyre will be glued in place and should hopefully be retained if you loose pressure on the road. Conti to be fair to them have sized the tyre well. I prefer a tighter fit though.
