Brilliant, thanks for reply. I'll build the new frame with my existing zipp/giant combo for now then and change later.

Nice build. Why the DA crankset and not the SRAM Red?

Nice seeing your all’s TCRs! Here’s mine. Stock stem is broken. Crack at lower steerer clamp bolt area. And I did not overtighten it. So upgrading to Aero. We still stuck with 1.25 limited stem options. I’ll likely put on the Giant SLR AERO Flux stem and an ENVE AERO road bar compact drop. Is that a good choice? Try to contact Giant about the stem failure but that could take awhile. Thanks for sharing.

Got the Giant SLR AERO Flux stem on my bike, I'd recommend it.
It's been good to date, stiff and fairly light.

Going through the decision of aero cockpit for my new TCR. I have strong reason to believe that aero gains are to be had at the front of the bike with the front wheel contributing most to gain/penalty. Cockpit is the next most important which is why I really want to get it right.
I toyed with the idea of doing the new propel stem and aero bar combo but am hesitant about the angular looking stem cap.
Just found this on ebay and I am intrigued by the look and price point. Wanted to know what you guys thought:

Also noticed earlier in the thread that there was discussion about rim depth. Here's what it looks like with 65mm CADEX.

My guess is that's a 180 mm crankset. SRAM Red only goes up to 177.5 mm.

I was thinking about the propel stem/bar for my 2020 TCR SL aswell. They look really sweet when therye slammed and with the cable cover on it exadurates the length to the eye. I ended up going with the (42x12) Giant Contact SLR Aero integrated bar but that propel setup is always in the back of my mind, i even think it would probably look better. I wonder which setup is lighter, i never weighed mine before install (too excited). Im going to take it off this winter and strip all the paint/decals off, well see how the carbon weaves look. Itll either get painted matte black like my bike or leave the UD with a light coat of clear.
I wanted to put a visual emphasis the integrated stem and seat post so i added a white stripe of white rainbow metallic vinyl, it was a bit of an experiment but it worked out well. This winter everything is getting taken apart it will look much better once all the paint and decals are gone.
Also, Love those Cadex 65. Ive been waiting for mine for a while, i just grabbed these Hunt 65 because i was impatient but im proably not going to keep them. i much prefer hookless wheels. Was thinking about shaving the hooks on the hunt wheels and making them hookless myself
i dont have many miles on them yet but so far i love deeper wheels, they work best for my kind of riding (lots of descents and high speed riding)
