Campagnolo EPS Group / OSPW with 1x setup
Moderator: robbosmans
having had a look around the forums, i had come to a conclusion that it is possible with mechanical setups of 1x for campagnolo in the older 10 speed stuff.
Wanting some info on whether Campagnolo EPS with a 1x chainring (Narrow Wide) will work ? I know there isnt a clutch derailuer for campagnolo RD, but whether having an OSPW from ceramic speed in campagnolo will assist with chain tension?
Any real world experiences out there?
Many thanks for input

Watch this from 8 min 40 seconds on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCkItZRYAMQ
When I was assembling an athena EPS bike a year or two back I experimented with the rear shifting while the front mech was not plugged in. There was a curious effect in that the rear mech then only shifted on every second click of a shifter button. Went back to normal when the front mech was reconnected.
Just mentioning this as a point of interest.

Any good solution to go 1x with Campy EPS?
I guess it could be possible to trick the system that the Front mech is connected somehow? I'm no electrician, but my guess is that the "brain" of the system sends a signal to the front mech to see if it's connected and by not receiving any signal back the system does not work properly? Maybe it's possible to bypass the signal right back to the "brain" by just figuring out which pin of the connector is the input and which one is the output? Anyone who has tried this and can confirm my guesses?

I think this is intrinsically quite difficult. Also, Campag don't make any of the really wide cassettes that 1X calls for. Biggest rear sprocket is 32t in 11sp.
