Just received an email from the KTM team and they claim that the Lisse takes 217 watts to achieve 45 km/h.
Compared to some other aero bikes that number seems pretty low, but I'm asking to confirm my suspicions.

I can name any number I like, without a test protocol it means nothing, and there's nothing to compare or consider to be "low" or "high".
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

Must be that special flacid penis style stem they've got going on with that bike to give you all those free watts, that looks truly horrid.

Replied asking if they can give protocol or other data and no response yet...

I noticed yesterday while riding on the new Shiv in Zwift on the London course that at 0% with no draft, I can maintain 40km/h @ 220W.

Virtual data is about as relevant as the garbage coming out of KTM.

In reality, this speed & wattage is actually totally fine with a CdA in ballpark of 0.2.

So you think KTM isn't spewing BS or that the Zwift data is right

I'm not saying Zwift data is right, I'm saying that with an optimised aero position on a good TT bike, you can achieve 40kph with 220W.

So for the KTM claim to be true the Lisse would have to be faster than a good TT bike with an optimized aero position. The skepticism makes sense.

Those statements are so generalized cause I weigh 80kg and it takes me 300watts to maintain 40 on my aero bike. Maybe if they used power to weight we could argue the point. Otherwise it means nothing to me.
