Folks, anyone on here own or ridden the Sarto Lampo. It's a frame I have been in love with for a mighty long time. Would love any thoughts or actual ride feedback. Cheers

Excellent build quality. Be prepared to wait a bit potentially depending on the paint you chose but well worth the wait. I don't currently own one but have ridden a few. Personally I would love a Seta Disc as a forever bike

Are you thinking of going custom or stock?

There was an older review on a UK site that was pretty glowing in 2016. Here's one if you haven't seen it Charles wrote up from PEZ:

I have two Sarto, one of them being Lampo w/Record EPS. It was the bike I used the most for one year.

Then I got a Seta Disc which I chose to assemble with full Dura Ace last year. The frame is so good that in the spring I put a Record EPS on it, the D-A being a lemon with juddering brakes, pistons leaking, the usual purging port blues and on top of that a dead battery due to some drain in the system.

Both are ace but Seta, disc or rim is just one of the best frames available IMO.

Does anyone know the tire clearance of Seta Rim frameset and fork?

I have a Lampo from 2015, great bike and the paint finish is second to none, it just looks fantastic, and rides really well, stiff and comfortable at the same time.
it is being used for both racing and does once long sunshine rides. Unfortunately, I was hit by a car a few weeks back and the rear chain snaped in two, but the good news is that I can change to a 2018 model Lampo:-)

Seta is probably a super nice bike with all the features.
Made to measure, custom layup and paintjob (what that covers in terms of paint job, i don't know)
But as i got now, it was 4350 Euro excl taxes.
That means it's about 5400 Euros here. That's sadly too much...
A frame which is similar to a 56 size for a guy 80-85 kgs was 900-950 grams (no bearings) painted i was informed.
My Vial EVO, incl derailleur hangers (front and rear), headset and bearings (direct press in this frame) is 790 grams.

When talking of custom like Sarto you must think that it will be much more suitable to people who REALLY need or REALLY want custom.
If you look at weight alone it's not worth it.

Yes that might be true. I guess carbon has reached it's end point talking weight and actually have a bike that doesn't crack.
Perhaps we need to wait until they mix graphene and carbon.

Standard you can use a 23 / 25 / 28 tire. If bigger tire/clearance is required - it can be made - as long as they know up front.
