Scott Addict vs. other stiff and light 2015-18 frames

I´m looking for a used light stiff road carbon frame below 900g, few years old, with reasonable price. In my eyes Scott Addict HMF/HMX looks the best for the price, second hand frameset could be quite affordable.
I just spent a lot of money on Aeroad Di2, so anything under £900 for used frameset will be best. Beside Aeroad I´m going to build some light climbing bike bike on Force or Chorus.

I would appreciate Izalco Max pretty much, from my friend I´ve heard it is great, stiff frame...but there are not many of them for sale out there.

i don't know about under appreciated, but holy cow! i am certainly impressed with 2 rides so far.
every single bit of stiff enough for me
have no idea how it compares to a scott addict though
i can't imagine needing anything any stiffer

I have both. Addict is less stiff (not by much) and much more comfortable for longer ride. My body prefers the Addict, but my head prefer the Izalco Max if that makes any sense.

hello,
my mantra is: buy whatever you like best aesthetically (with a view on the geometry). addict, evo himod, izalco max, ridley helium....my experience is, that most of those frames with similar characteristics (simple classical appearance without embellishent, race geometry, light...) are although very similar in terms of stiffness/ride quality and processing (not a few for shure come from the same manufacturer)
the better one likes bike aesthetically, the lower is imo the pressure to buy something new/different (if the geometry fits!)

Good point! I like the clean look and low weight of the Addict(and quite low price too), but Izalco Max would be ultimate budget climbing machine, but as I said not many out there. Super6 is not the best looker imho. Today I had a look at Argon 18 Gallium Pro and it looks like very light and stiff frame too.

+1! never rode it, but imo one of the nicest frames out there.
i would call this one "underrated" or"under-represented", at least on boards like this (but, ok, its just the internet....
i remember fabio arus red 2017-gallium pro, nicest pro bike since long!

Addict HMF is not that special, and in practice won't be below 900g. HMX will be, but Scotts do not possess the best riding quality (and I've ridden several ones, including Addict HMX-SL version). For light used bikes, I'd still try to find Cannondale Supersix Evo Himod, or look into not-so-popular bikes like Argon, as mentioned here.

Supersix has quite long seat tube(for my shorter legs) and I don´t really like external routing so much. Addict HMF declared 860g in size 54, is it a scam?

Ultimate SLX is usually more expensive than my budget, but I´d consider it.
