That’s what the park scale at the shop said... I’ll get it back in the shop and get a pic of it on the scale. I didn’t see the frame on the scale but I was told the frame was 990g for a 56. It seems very much weird. Online I can’t find any info on how much a full build should weigh.
From what you claim, seems like the S5 could be the lightest of the aero bunch, and yet Cervelo doesn’t give any info as to the weight of a full bike? Seems nonsensical.

the weight is wonky. a 54 with lighter etap/dtwheels weighed was 7.5kg without pedals. please weigh it again make sure the scale is accurate LOL

Idk about the wheels but etap hrd actually weighs more than dura ace. Update, the park scale at the shop must not have been working properly. Much more in line with what was expected. The 21g bottle cages that cost $21 for the pair are pretty awesome though!

7.3kg seams within reach. Regardless, awesome bike!
Likely going to get a set of ~45mm deep tubs for racing. The saddle is full carbon with carbon rails. I’ve never ridden a non padded carbon saddle so I’m a bit nervous about that. The computer mount is carbon as well, the stock one is an alloy boat anchor lol. I might eventually get a lighter bottom bracket but it doesn’t creak right now so I’m not going to change that, at least not yet. Funny you mention gp5000s, I’m kinda salty it didn’t come with them in the first place. The wheels and frame did sit for 3 months waiting for a groupset, so I’m not that surprised as they weren’t out yet when they started putting the bike together to ship.

One thing I'm a little interested in is why Cervelo hasn't modfied the down tube like many other brands (namely Pinarello & BMC) in order to accomodate aerodynamics when a bottle is in place?
In real world terms probably 90% of road cyclists ride with at least a bottle on the downtube; 100% of professionals. I really don't see it as being something so irrelevant that a major motorsport manufacturer wouldn't advise design changes when consulted (ie Jaguar for Pinarello), and BMC have obviously understood this themselves with their new design.
Is it just that in the wind tunnel it probably tests slower and therefore is not as great a marketing tool? Obviously wind tunnel tests aren't usually done with bottles in place as with cages included it would create a simply staggering amount of variables.
I'm talking only about road bikes here, but Pinarello even optimised the Bolide and thus the F10 afterward; and let's be honest Pinarello have never been considered aero freaks themselves like Cervelo.
I've not seen one in person, but the downtube of the new S5 looks almost as similar as the 2012 S5 and even more similar to the 2015. So...what's the deal?

In real world the aerodynamics of the frame have almost zero impact so considering a bottle on the downtube or not makes little difference.
Could be the shape/size of the downtube that allows the water bottle to be 'hidden' without the cage being integrated like the Dogma/BMC.
I had the 2012 S5 and now have the 2018 S5, different shape/size downtube.
