A local Cervélo dealer has posted some Cervélo teasers about a bike they can’t reveal until tomorrow (1st Oct):

Just seen the email from Cervélo. What an ugly front end...
Are you talking about the bike or reviewer? The music is crap too.RichTheRoadie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 5:18 amJust seen the email from Cervélo. What an ugly front end...

polarizing to say the least. I happen to quite like it.
"Claimed weight for a bare 56cm frame is just 740g" is impressive. I wonder how much the fork and stem/bar weigh?
The shots from cyclingtips look really nice. Unfortunately the sunweb announcement looks way out of proportion.

Due to pricing, I was more interested in the new S3 and the fact that Cervelo stuck to the high and short geometry is a deal breaker for me. 605mm stack and 396mm of reach for a 58...
The question mark regarding tyre clearance for both the S models (from CyclingTips article) is also strange. Tire clearance with 25mm seems tight.

Yes! Hope that one fits R5 as well, which would allow to drop at least 30g from the anchoring RAT axle setup. For those wanting more traditional thru-axle systems, there will also be a threaded axle with a flush, tooled head available aftermarket.

740g for a minimally painted 56cm aero-disc frame is astonishing. Sounds too good to be true. Sunweb should easily be able to get to the 6.8kg lower limit assuming the seatpost and bar/stem combo aren't too chunky.

Looks like the real frame weight is somewhere around 975g for a painted S5 frame.
