GPS + camera in one

I would love to be able to have a cycling computer + camera for safety reasons. The Refactor unit which had been on Kickstarter looked promising, but was not funded, I suspect because it was too good to be true.

It looks like there is another device that exists in the wild that is not nearly as elegant called the Xplova X5 Evo.

Thanks mpulsiv - interesting concept but sounds like the implementation was less than stellar. DC Rainmaker makes some rather good points, I wonder if someone at Garmin is reading?
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
