Why is my Focus Izalco Max Disc so heavy?

The frame is very light but everything else isn’t.

I disagree.
Ultegra is durable, precise, and affordable. Lightweight belongs to the premier groups. I’m not 100% certain but isn’t chorus or force lighter than Ultegra making it the heaviest mid-level group?
A few grams here and there adds up quick.

Sounds about right to me. What wheels, saddle, pedals, etc? What size is your frame? UDi2 is a few hundred grams heavier than DA Di2 IIRC.

You would be correct with that statement.
The clue is in the 7th word of the title. Seriously, if you want to get a disc bike light relative to light road bikes you have to go fairly exotic on all the parts. It sounds like all your parts are mid-level, except maybe the frame and fork.
Hydraulic disc brakes have a weight penalty. Shimano more so than others.
Only the shifters are almost twice as heavy as Sram Red mechanical shifters (rim brake).
What about your wheelset?
There is hope yet. You could start shaving the weight and maybe arrive at 7kg.

What They say...all true
Nevertheless I think they're a great bike
Frame light...my 56cm disc frame was 800ish grams...
With dura ace, new saddle, seat Post, handle bar, stem, expander and 1500g wheels mine weighs 7.1ish...need to update build photos
Waiting on tubular wheels to be delivered hoping for 6.7-6.8kg
Low 6kg disc bikes are possible but bloody expensive

Or high 5kg but even more $

Well, that's "simple" to fix: change everything besides frameset, shifters and calipers, you should be able to get into high-5kg easily.

You're right. Only 360gr per pair for r8070 shifters.
Where did I see 500+ gr for hydraulic shifters? Maybe ultegra non-di2 hydraulic? I forgot...
Anyway. Don't give up. You can improve the bike.

All non-series Shimano hydro shifters are over 500g, including ST-RS685 (~646g) and ST-R785 (~510g).
