Gonna do a PROPER Weight Weenie Izalco Max / Chorus build report
Moderator: robbosmans
i just have to get the image import software figured out, So i can properly download pictures from my camera
Image Capture used to import and archive pictures into folders by date of photo created, but my old MacBook Pro $#!+ the bed, and i cant figure out how to get the program to properly archive photos into date-created folders.
i'm sure i'll get this figured out... i should have taken video of my DIY PF30 Press Tool. i think i can still do that after the fact

Pardon my skepticism but can one use weightweenie and chorus in the same sentence?

I have a Focus Cayo with 1st gen Chorus 11s. Not a proper WW job but holy cow that thing has taken some beating. And that didn’t hold me back doing Gavia, Mortirolo and Santa Cristina/Aprica 2 weeks ago.
It has never missed a beat.

Hey there, what weight target are you trying to achieve to do a PROPER weightweenie build, quite curious. I'm assuming some of those parts weighed are going to be swapped for lighter parts, as not very weightweenie. Are you going to strip the paint of the frame and fork or leave as is.
Cheers

I get the impression this is a proper build as in true to WW (where we are) style, weights for all components will be listed.
OP, did you get that frame from Piermont?

no, not stripping paint off the frameset. i don't want to void the warranty
what i meant by "proper" build report was including brand/model/year info, and actual weight in grams with accompanying picture
i'm sure i could spend hundreds shedding a few more grams here and there, but for now i'm not going to any heroic lengths
as it is, i don't think any of the components are that far out of the norm
very good guessVTR1000SP2 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 11:18 pmI get the impression this is a proper build as in true to WW (where we are) style, weights for all components will be listed.
