Are these possible to find anywhere... or are they one of those pro only deals.. they used to be readily available in the 135 bcd range..

145bcd is what I searched on and came up with ebay...

As far as I know they are not available generally on distirbutors pricelists. 54/42T rings are no in the spares parts catalogue either.

Does anyone know if the 12s rings are gonna be available in larger sizes to us regular peons? I don't know why Campy dropped selling them to the public..

Because no one but you buys them. Its like 12-25t cassette, hardly any one buys them now. I suspect making such a ring given the slow sales would be a loss making excerise.

As far as I understand these are only for teams. Last year srm for a short while had used 54t and 55t on their site for the 11sp. However I don't think they were suppose to be sold because it disappeared very quickly. Maybe only had a few or were told they can't sell them. I suspect what your seeing came from a rider or that sale.

damn, I ride 12-25 on flats and rolling roads. I also own a set of DA 54-42 cranks - and I ride them too (kinda, they're 10sp on an older bike). AFAIK such cranks are so rare distros don't really stock them, hence the availability issues
