Well the eTap version is here, nice to read all the good and bad comments on the system.

di2 has something similar, not very long though

Couldn't really find an EPS version so I figured lets see what WW guys has to say for them.
I believe EPS has been out the longest with the least 'model' change...

Six years in, more like.

It works.

Over time it has proved to be the most reliable system. Other than the occasional dead battery, the servos are bombproof as the mechanical parts of the derailleurs are. The planetary drive with concentric resolver concept is a winner. It will carry over unchanged to EPS 12s.

The only thing I would appreciate is satellite shifters.

My first SR EPS [v1] had battery issues. Right off the bat! My LBS [Branford Bike] had a new one in a week. Since then, I have never had an issue. I've had 3 EPS groupsets since then on three bikes. All v2.

It just works, which is all I want.

The only reason I will get rid of the SR EPS, is for the 12sp version. Next summer.

It wasn’t uncommon to find groupsets which batteries had drained too much due to long storage in the early EPS days.

Other than that, it’s proven to be a rock. Shifting is extremely good in every electronic groupset regardless of make, but I find EPS to be a notch above the rest in speed when dumping or climbing multiple gears and tolerance to suboptimal set up.
