I asked Token and Hope about bearing, and they replied this:
Token is using 42x30x6.0 (non standard), Hope is using 42x30x7.0 (standard)

My Park Tools BBT-27 arrived today - bought primarily for the FSA BB cups, but shortly after (on advice from Hambini) bought the Hope 30mm Threaded BB instead.

So, have been looking around to see if the BBT-27 will work with the Hope, as the specs for the BBT-27 say that it (from here)

- Fits FSA MegaEvo (16 notch 48.5mm OD cup)
- Fits Wheels Mfg PF30 (16 notch 49.3mm OD cup)

But then in the Q's section, the advice is given that it doesn't work with the Hope BB.

Both are 16 notch, but it must be the diameter. I'll report back when it lands, but it looks like I'll return the BBT-27 or try and sell it on, as when I got the Hope BB, it came with the tool.

Bloody standards .... :unbelievable:

OK, Hope 30mm BB and tool arrived.

It’s confirmed that the Park BBT-27 does NOT fit. The issue is the ID of the cutouts is as follows (both are 16 notch)

Hope 30mm BB - 47.09mm (1.854”)
FSA MegaEVO - 45.92mm (1.808”)

The Park BBT-27 ID of the teeth is 46.101mm, so cannot fit the Hope BB unless you start grinding away.

The hope cups are 10.21mm thick as a side note.

Cheers

That's really intersting - I have Rotor and Tune BB30 and both are 42x30x7.0 (I think) didn't realise that the Token ones were only 6mm. Might be really interesting in a OverTorque ITA solution... Except it doesn't look like they do an ITA Thread... Must look at the 6mm bearnings though....

Any ideas on a source of 42x30x6mm bearings?!?
