Hey all, I'm looking for an upgrade to my Pro Vibe 7s Round bars. I love the drop shape, flat hood transition, and oversized top section. Sadly pro isn't making this shape anymore and I'm eyeing some carbon bars as an upgrade.
Has anyone with experience on the vibe rounds found a similar bar that works well for them?
Possible options are these but none seem perfect.
-Pro Vibe compact or aero compact
-Bontrager XXX bars
-zipp contour

This bar was clearly loved, here's a ten page WW thread just about the bar!https://weightweenies.starbike.com/foru ... =3&t=49750

Ritchey Neo Classic is worth a look, and it's also available in carbon.

Yep, the Neo Classic is a similar shape, and a Zipp SL-88 wouldn't be far off either.

Yeh, it's not far off but the reach is quite a bit more; the Pro Vibe Round has a very short reach. Have owned all three of the above mentioned bars.

Maybe the Fizik Cyrano Snake, which also combines round drops with a flat transition to the hoods.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have a neo classic on my other bike, I generally like the shape though the smaller diameter top section is definitely a drawback. Hood transition is definitely similar to the pro.

I hadn't looked at the Cyrano Snake before (I forget Fizik does more than saddles :) ). Looks like a really good bar, large diameter top, flat transition and a deep round drop. This could be the one. Numbers from the Fizik site:
Reach: 85 mm
Drop: 140mm

Zipp SL-88 is a nice shape but still alloy:
Reach: 88mm
Drop: 130mm

For Reference the pro vibe is:
Reach: 79
Drop: 130

Just circling back on this a bit. I tested out the 3T tornova at a shop this weekend. I think this is also meets most the criteria I'm after but a bit deeper drop. Time to set up some ebay alerts!
