For a German company based in the West, they sure keep inventory, especially in the US, as if they were a state run enterprise in former East Germany.

so what's the next occasion they could premiere a new bike?
And while we are at it, any ideas if their TT frame (Speedmax) could get an update aswell?

Eurobike in early September? They have premiered bikes there in the past if I recall...

Unfortunately, on the Eurobike website, Canyon is not in the list of brands present. It was not present in 2018 either.

It may be worth having a close look at the bikes used by Katusha and Movistar at the upcoming Vuelta + Mathieu Van Der Poel’s social media accounts.

Big brands rarely unveil new bikes at Eurobike anymore...they would rather hold their own media event a week or two before.

True, they want 100% of the attention so they bring journos/medias to a launch event more and more than use bike shows.

The Speedmax feels like it is due a disc brake version at least. If one were to be released anytime soon, I'd be expecting it at the Ironman Kona World Championship in October where several of the top favorites are sponsored by Canyon (Patrick Lange, Jan Frodeno, possibly others).

I'd keep an eye on what Matthieu Van Der Poel is riding.

MvdP on a new Aeroad at worlds would be a huge marketing coup for canyon. He's the most valuable asset for canyon, he's choosing the aeroad all the time he's on the road and he is in the spotlight at worlds anyway. No better way to promote a new bike. 100% media attention basically for free.

Can't easily shake an idea of next road bike trend which could be all-round bike. A merge of aerodynamic performance in lightweight package. Good for all types of road racing stages without any performance and comfort downsides.
Aeroad merged with Ultimate. The Canyon Roadmate :)
And it could be made in more geometry versions. Endurance and Pro geometry. Similar to current Ultimate and Endurace beying the same with just layup and geometry differences.
Yeah probably not gonna happen, which is good :)
