How heavy is it? You might as well replace bits slowly as they wear out. So go ride it lots.

Some small upgrades have arrived over a few weeks, first i went to install a MT zoom seatpost clamp which would of saved me a easy 10g however it turns out i ordered the wrong size, however it worked out in the end as i used it on my new winter/ uni bike. With the purchase of my winter bnike came some wheels which were in turn lighter than my current ones, so then i set about changing the wheels over and the Veloflex tyres. The wheels i believe weigh around 1,500 grams, this saved me around 280 grams. Shortly after some cheap chinese Ti skewers arrived which i swapped out with the standard skewers. As pictured below the Ti skewers weighted 52 Grams compared to the old skewers which weighed 126.

The full bike is now around 7kg however this was measured on a cheap scale so the data might not be 100% accurate.

Sorry for the lack of updates, as of now i am currently at Univeristy and i didnt want to bring my best bike down. Im still riding just on my winter bike which is a Focus Cayo. Let me know if anyone want to see more specs and pictures, however it is only a winter bike so dont expect much.

Just a quick update as ive had time to tweak the bike a little during the christmas holidays. I have added a full carbon saddle to the bike after firstly suffering from some dicomfort due to what i think is a build up of pressure, and secondly a way to save a few grams :P . The saddle i pick is just a standard model that can be found for relatvely cheap on ebay, so its no issue if the new shape does not solve the discomfort. This has now dropped the weight to 6.4 kg.
