so i got a set of wheels built up for a frame that is not going to work out.
the rear hub is 140mm
however, i'm finding out that 142mm is a far more common standard
i imagine this would place the rotor 1 mm off the disc caliper center line
1 mm isn't that far of a distance for a steel rear triangle to travel
i'm wondering about carbon fiber though

its thru-axle hub if that matters

140?
I saw one of those once.
Really really not a common size.

142 uses a 12mm through axle. So it'll require a lot of pissing about to get it to fit. How are you measuring your 140mm hub?

Have to ask what brand/model of hub came with 140mm spacing? Realistically, you will probably save a lot of trouble down the road by rebuilding the rear wheel with a hub that has 142 spacing.
