Correct. There might be a clever way to pull at it though - just not one that I know of :) either way let us know the results.

Email SRM Support and ask them - they’re pretty good at answering quickly.

Thanks both, I've contacted SRM. I think a 2 arm puller will work like Park Tool CBP-8. Will report back soon

Way off topic but Micky's image reminds me so much of the E-Trade baby commercials from the previous decade:

Does anyone know what kind of mounting standard is used attach the Campagnolo crank arms to SRM's Campagnolo spider? Would the crank arm mounting standard be any different for the PM9 Origin Road Carbon 4-arm spider? I hope they both use SRAM's 3-bolt direct mount interface

Does anyone know how the lid opens? Mine needs a new battery and I'd rather do it myself than send it in but I don't see a seam like I do on my others.

As promised I have finally received the bolt and removed the crank, here are the pics which speak for themselves

This is the special bolt that engages the thread on the "top" of the crank arm, by screwing it in, it pushes the crank jaws open to remove the crank

SRM said only do it up enough to remove the crank arm otherwise can risk cracking

I have a SRM Origin with 24 mm spindle, and I finally got around to installing it but noticed an issue. The sleeve adapter for 24 mm spindle doesn't cover the entirety of the NDS end of the spindle and actually overhang the NDS end by ~5 mm (see images below), which means that when the NDS arm is installed, a good portion of the arm isn't actually cinching down on the spindle. Is this how it suppose to work? My thinking is no, based on Fig. 2 of the SRM manual here.

I don't think either the bottom bracket or the crankset is otherwise installed incorrectly. My other 24 mm crankset (Dura Ace 9000 SRM) shifts just fine when installed, and the rings on this Origin SRM crankset also shift just fine when I checked.

Thoughts on what might have happened here?

I commented on your Paceline thread.

I think I've figured it out. My origin road 24mm spindle is 134mm length and my track 24mm spindle is 130mm.

I think you have a track spindle in there. That would explain the 4-5mm difference.

Very keen eyes. Thank you!

I took the crankset apart to measure the spindle length, and it was immediately clear that the spindle is not 134 mm in length.

I later got my caliper on it, 130 mm as you indicated.
