As per title. Please forgive if sounds like a silly question but these are some of my favourite rims. I’ve a couple of wheel sets built up with them and wondered if by using Kool Stop salmon pads I might prolong the life of the rims.

In the past I’ve used the Kool stop green ceramic specific.

From what i remember from back in my MTB days, non specific pads make the ceramic coating wear faster.
