I didn’t mention a word about aesthetics. I said that 1-1/4 stem selection is quite limited due to oversized steerer exclusively by Giant. I want to be able to swap parts and prefer cross compatibility but this may not be the case since the seatpost is “D” shape and OverDrive 2 steerer tube.
