What is best worth of money to upgrade with lower friction bearings for bottom bracket and rear pulleys?
Are oversizde pulleys good - or they just make shifting worse?

I’ve not heard of OSPW negatively affecting shift performance. I have tried a few options out there and here’s how I rank them:
Pulleys:
Value: tacx ceramic
Performance: OSPW coated
Weight: Kogel NFI
B.B:
Value - Hawk Racing
Performance - couldn’t really tell (Kogel vs CeramicSpeed vs Hawk)

None of them are worth it based on a watts/$$ calculation. You are talking about saving 1/2 to 1 watt. An aero road helmet can save you 10 watts.

If you really want to go fast, get bearings without any seals and use a light oil for the lubricant. You'll have to re oil frequently but they will be the fastest.

^ In the olden days () they used to do this for TTs (even in grand tours). If pro mechanics did it back in the day, I'd be inclined to trust it.

Yup. Still can't find a smoother ride than Dura Ace hubs and Sugino BB with 1/4 inch bearing balls all around. They were so loose and fast
