SRAM eTap RD Repair

A buddy mangled his eTap RD pretty badly. Normal maladjustment and shifted into the spokes. He's already replaced it, but I'm trying to revive the old one to either buy or give back to him for his TT bike.

The cage/pulleys are dead, but replaceable. Not an issue.

The part I'm having trouble with is the part where the cage screws into the derraileur body. There appears to be a captured spring inside this part that is busted somehow. Is there a way to get this out, and more importantly, where might I find a replacement? I don't see that part available on any parts sheets.

if it's not a listed spare you can try contacting sram, maybe they can send you one, otherwise look out for another dead one to strip for spares
