The price of TCR SL 1 that comes with this power meter is so competitive . MSRP $5500!

Apparently a ground-up design and not rebadged Pioneer internals.

Not a big fan of Giant but this is a good move from them in terms of value for the money!

I hope Spesh, Trek & Co. will see the message and not keep increasing their prices

Giant often push new stuffs. Disc brake road bike (Defy), 27.5 MTB, and now PM at mid-level RB!

Pushing PM to the mass can't be bad. Hopefully it's excution is better than Shimano's own attempt, esp the software... good luck.

I am in the market for a new bike. TCR is incredible good value and kudos to Giant.

My only problem with Giant is that I don't like the frame colors (do they pick bad colors on purpose?) and I already have a Quarq on my current bike that I really like. Otherwise $5k for a bike equipped with a PM and Di2 is a steal.

@DCcyclist maybe you could take a look into the 2019 TCR Adv SL frameset?

Looks like disc only, advanced pro and advanced pro sl.

Pro SL for ISP, pro for seatpost.

What is the ISP seat height range for M or ML? Not specified.

2018 wheels were laced 2:1 on the rear, I wonder if that carries over. I would prefer 1:1 since I'm on the heavy side.

Edit: looking at pics 2:1 carries over.

Wish I knew this was going to be an option when I spent my 5k this year and didn't get the PM. Oh well.

Value on these it through the roof. Buy an Emonda SLR 6 for $6500 and you're still on alloy wheels, have mech Ultegra and no power meter. No wonder Giant is the largest bike manufacturer in the world.

Pretty easy and fun. All my bikes have been built from the ground up. Frameset, groupset, handlebar, stem, bar tape, saddle, and wheels. If purchased smartly, the price is almost always better than off the showroom.

Impressive. $5500 USD for the disc brake version of a top of the line, grand tour winning frameset with Ultegra Di2 hydro, a dual sided power meter and deep section carbon tubeless wheels is a screaming value. The rainbow black paintjob is on style and MUCH better than the 2018 colorways. Wow.

Same kit on a diff frame for the advanced pro version and save $500.

It is also on the 2019 Propel Advanced Pro and Advanced SL.
