Have some damage to the DA7800 shifters and thought of upgrading to 7900 shifters. But then started wondering if just getting the whole R8000 group would be lighter than the current mix of DA 7800 and 7900 group that is on the bike.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Hi
Can your wheels support 11 speed cassettes ?
It’s a nobrainer if they do the new stuff shifts great and much lighter, this from a guy still using 7900 mechanical / 6700 Di2.
I built up at lease 5 bikes for others Mechanical and Di2 11 speed the stuff just works.
