New Emonda ALR? Discs?

^^ Started a different thread RE: the geometry question so not to derail this one. @sungod pointed out that the stack listed in the .pdf differs from the one on the site. Both frames appear to actually have a stack of 543, so are in fact basically identical in geometry.

Does any one know if DI2 can be fitted to the disk frame? I cant see that it can whitch seems a real shame!

Yes it can.
The rear end of the chainstay has a large opening, no port or grommet so the di2 wire would move/rattle freely. Perhaps with something like sugru you could secure the cable exit from the chainstay.

I just got the frame, 50cm rim brake.
The paint looks quite nice in person!
And the weight of 1117g I am happy with, as the articles quoted 1112g for an unpainted 56cm.

Owned and loved my 2016 Emonda ALR 5 for a few years until I got a new bike in August. That said, I took out the new ALR 5 disc a few days ago and loved the look and feel of it. Much like the purple, it looks better in person than in photos, but the understated reflective logo looks really nice.

What did you think of the new 105 shifting feel & crankset?

I liked it, but I didn't take it on a massive ride. Having been on Dura-Ace on my new bike I definitely felt the difference in shifts, but it felt more like Ultegra 6800 than the 105 5800 I was used to before. My biggest compliment goes to the hydraulic shifter, which has come a long was in ergonomics and size.

Just realised that the rim brake alr 5 bike comes with an aluminium steerer, while the disc version and the rim brake frameset come with a full carbon fork. That's a little disappointing.

Emonda ALR disc vs BMC ALR Disc One?

Emonda all the way. IIRC, the BMC isn’t hydroformed. It’s round tubes, so you’re likely getting the traditional AL harsher buzzier ride.

The BMC is hydroformed. It's got a D shaped seat tube, a boxy looking top tube and a triangle-ish downtube that flattens out at the bb.
