Anyone have a set of these yet? Any reviews or comparisons to other pedal power meters i.e. Vector 3s?

I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

DC Rainmaker can be heard cursing about his Exakts in GPLama’s recent video of them riding up Stelvio Pass.

- They are very expensive
- They offer no special features for that extra cost
- They have a more complex installation process than the other 3 PM pedals
- His have accuracy problems and doesn’t seem to play nicely with his Edge 1030

I've had my Powertap P1's a little over a year now, I've been happy with them and how they've worked.

Dcrainmaker does always two things: praises everything from Wahoo and bashes SRM. Over the years SRM had never gave a rat's ass about this self proclaimed "powermeter expert" and that blogger's attention seeking self-isteem is obviously hurt

My mistake, it's the video chat before that where they show a brief clip.

really... I sent mine back to garmin and they gave me a new set.. complete turn around time was 8 days. I know ppl like to poopoo on garmin but you are doing it wrong if they have not worked since you got them (unless it's been under 10 day)

But, but, but dcrainmaker in his "in depth" Garmin Vector 3 review gave it superb rating.

I could not care less about DC... I've owned Vectors since V1.. for the most part they have worked for me. As for v3 I had bad battery door issue and stripped threads on the pedel side, so they sent me new ones. I think Stevey needs to contact garmin support and get it squared away, they have always been really helpful to me.

If u can check Favero Asioma..I have Duo version since January 2018..About 5000 km on them, no problems or troubles (except bad weight hanging, so if u miss clip in spin forever. This seem to be less problem using Look Keo Cleats)

My issue with the Vector 3s is battery life. Mine are so new they shipped with the redesigned battery doors, but the original batteries lasted just 45 hours of pedaling time with Torque Effectiveness and Cycling Dynamics on. That is unacceptable for a non-rechargeable system. I have since switched to Energizer 2L76 (CR1/3N) batteries and will see if they last any longer.

It really seems like the Favero Assiomas are the best option right now.

yeah that would be my only issue as well.. my v2 last way longer.. I've been through 3 sets of batteries and I think I'm getting more then 45.. but not much more. I just got my new ones in the mail.. so I'll start counting again.

I got the low-battery warning at 45 hours, which is when the voltage dips to <2.6V I think. I'm guessing it would have lasted several more rides.

I usually get in 2 more rides after the warning... or roughly 5/6 hours then change them to be safe
